A computer-based adaptive trainer is in development for training a complex decision-making task for the military.
My role: Co-Investigator
- Coordinated extensively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and military instructors to create instructional content and instructional feedback for over 100 decision-making scenarios
- Designed (wireframed) the adaptive computer testbed scenario layout and feedback screens
- Tested content and testbed prototype with military population end-users
- Developed assessment metrics and designed experiments to test training effectiveness
- Contributed to the trainer’s adaptation algorithm based on adult learning theory in the scientific literature
